Madina Akhmedova, Rise Assist | Be Your Own Boss

We spoke with Madina Akhmedova the CEO and Founder of Rise Assist and found out about her and motivation behind the insighting training and consultancy firm she founded.

About  me; I have always been passionate about education and helping women! During my corporate career in UAE higher education and training, I met many women who were frustrated with their career’s progress (or lack thereof). So, I decided to combine my passions and help them reach theirs, and, in 2016, the idea for Rise Assist was born.

My Goal; My goal was to create new career opportunities for women in the UAE. There is a strong demand for flexible working and I decided to help women benefit from the increasing demand, I knew I could help them because of my experience and educational background in strategic marketing, education and business!

About the Virtual Assisting Course Rise Assist; We spent 11 months researching career trends, consuming each piece of information available and interviewing over 110 other entrepreneurs for this program. During this time, I focused on investing my skills rather money which the mindset I teach in my courses.

The course focuses on three critical components of success: mindset, skillset, and client management. This course is ideal for women with an entrepreneurial drive, it requires a lot of learning, reading and mastering during and after the course.

Benefits of the Virtual Assistant Program; Working mums need to make a living while trying to manage their children, home, and personal life. Virtual Assistance offers the opportunity for flexible work, which could be perfect for women in the region.

Structure of the Virtual Assistant Program;  There are 40 hours of live training to attend in addition to video software tutorials, assignments, challenges and exercises that are required to be completed. Students also receive lifetime access to RiseAssist online school where program materials, lessons, and resources are stored in addition to ongoing VA community support.

Virtual Assistant Role in the Region;  Our graduates can work for organizations, entrepreneurs and small businesses at the terms that they choose. The demand for remote support services is proven even by data shared by Upwork-  UAE ranks fifth globally in terms of its online talent hiring spend.

Also, client management is a critical part of the training in our course.

Success Stories; Oh, yes — plenty of them!

Evgeniya Sovenko and Lubov Sanina (@VA Bloom) teamed up after completion of our program! They chose a niche of Branding Specialisation, Sales Funnels designing and Social Media Management and have the common purpose of supporting other women with similar interests.

One of our first students, Cristina Instrati ( took the leap into VA copywriting despite moments of doubt. Now, she works with female entrepreneurs all over the world, helping them to emotionally connect with their audience and increase their sales and income.

Recognition and Accreditation; As a licensed Business Training Center we issue certificates of course completion along with transcript of modules completed in addition to international certifications and accreditations from our partners, ExpertRating. We are also in process of getting accredited by TRACCERT Canada.
